[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]We know that lockdown has been really tough, especially on those most vulnerable who are relying on emergency food parcels and other support during this time. Sacred Bean were delighted when asked to provide 60 special hampers to be given out across Derby to people who are especially in need of cheering up during lockdown.

We created “Hampers of Hope” containing a cafetiere, locally made brownies, a card with a message of love, a handmade wooden cross by one of the members of Susanna Wesley House’s management team, as well as some of our fantastic coffee and the story behind it.

The Hampers were carefully made up at Ozzy Road church by the Sacred Bean Crew – where there’s plenty of space for social distancing of course.  They were distributed by the Derby Food Forum Covid Response team of volunteers who nominated people across all areas of the city.

We’ve had some great feedback from the Food Forum team about how people were really touched by the thought behind their Hamper. We are absolutely delighted and inspired to be a part of it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
